Community Involvement

Our attorneys and staff serve and support a diverse group of community organizations.  Whether it is volunteering at a hospice center, serving on the board for a cancer research organization, or acting as a Big Brother for a deserving child, we understand the importance of giving back.

Since 1978, Agrace Hospice Care has been a nonprofit, community based hospice dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families dealing with life limiting conditions.  

 

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. The Combat Blindness Foundation is dedicated to preventing avoidable blindness worldwide and believes it is the responsibility of the fortunate to help the less fortunate in accomplishing that goal.

Friends of the Remington Center - UW Law School  

The Frank J. Remington Center is a law-in-action program of the UW Law School made up of several clinical projects dedicated to teaching, service, and research.

Junior Achievement USA is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. 

Oakwood Foundation

Established in 1981, the Oakwood Foundation’s mission is the development, stewardship and distribution of resources to promote the highest level of independence for a diverse community of older adults.  The Oakwood Foundation creates the margin of excellence for those who live at Oakwood Village and those who benefit from its programs, services and facilities.

  

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

 

Through the development of community-wide financial support, planning and allocations, the mission of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation is to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people, to enhance the quality of Jewish life and to build a strong unified Jewish community in Milwaukee, in Israel and throughout the world

Rotary International

In more than 34,000 clubs worldwide, you'll find members volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio. 

 

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, also known as Conferences of Saint Vincent de Paul, was founded in Paris in 1833 by a group of young laymen. It is a Catholic voluntary organization of lay men and women dedicated to providing personal help to people in any kind of need.

 

Sheltering Animals of Abuse Victims

The SAAV Program is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization providing temporary shelter for the animals of domestic abuse victims attempting to leave an abusive relationship and raising community awareness about the link between domestic abuse and animal cruelty.

 

UW-Madison's prominence in cancer research, education and treatment arises from more than six decades of diligence and discovery - beginning with the founding of the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research in 1940 followed by the formation of the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC) in 1973, now known as the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.
