DeWitt Welcomes Two Associates to the Firm
MADISON | MILWAUKEE | MINNEAPOLIS – The law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., and its affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., today announced Erin Block and Eric Hansch have joined the firm as associates.
Block, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group, is located in the firm’s Metro-Milwaukee office. She assists partners and clients with all facets of Intellectual Property law, particularly patent and trademark prosecution. In this capacity, she helps to prepare domestic and international patent applications, and handle the prosecution of those applications through to issuance. Block also assists clients in patent licensing, trademark evaluation, patent infringement litigation, design patent prosecution and intellectual property research. She specializes in the software and life science fields. Block received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her B.S., in computer science, from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Hansch, a member of the firm’s Business Practice group, is located in the firm’s Madison office. His practice focuses on all aspects of corporate and real estate law. He works closely with and advises companies, business owners and executives on a wide array of corporate and organizational matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and contract negotiations. He also advises commercial real estate clients and lenders on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development, leasing, financing, zoning and entitlement approvals. Hansch received his J.D. cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, an M.B.A., from the University of Wisconsin, and a B.S.,magna cum laude, Finance and Real Estate, Marquette University.
