When a client is faced with an issue which requires sound legal advice from an experienced attorney, Brad is available to assist. He concentrates his practice in three areas; representing management interests in labor and employment matters, handling commercial litigation disputes and dealing with construction law matters.
His labor and employment experience includes tackling issues for clients such as collective bargaining representation, election and unfair labor practice proceedings, grievance arbitrations, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful discharge. Brad frequently represents his clients on labor and employment matters before administrative agencies, and state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Brad actively counsels employers and human resource professionals on issues ranging from drafting of employee handbooks and policies, to the hiring process and discipline and termination procedures. In fact, many of his clients rely upon two checklists he authored, the "Employment Relations Audit Checklist" and the "Common Employee Handbook Policies" list.
Appointed by former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy G. Thompson, Brad once served as a management representative on the Wisconsin Labor-Management Council. The council provided a forum for labor and management representatives to discuss issues that affect the state’s economy and to foster positive labor-management relations in the workplace.
