Debbie Blose is a seasoned litigation paralegal with more than 25 years of experience in handling large document, multi-party, multi-million dollar litigation matters. Debbie’s extensive experience, energy, work ethic, team focus and technical skills enrich the firm’s litigation teams through all aspects of a case, including large-scale document production, pre-trial preparation and in-courtroom trial support.
Debbie has experience is state and federal courts as well as arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining DeWitt Ross & Stevens in 1997, she worked as a litigation paralegal in Colorado, Oregon and Montana.
Debbie has worked on a variety of matters, including:
- Shell Oil Co. v. Winterthur Swiss Insurance Company, a multi-billion dollar environmental insurance coverage dispute in which Shell Oil sued 350 insurance companies for the costs of cleaning up the Rocky Mountain Arsenal outside of Denver, Colorado – one of the largest and notorious Superfund sites.
- Cascade Pole Co. v. Reliance Ins. Co., No. 88-2-2316-13 (Wash Super Ct, Thurston Cty, March 20, 1992), a multi-million dollar environmental insurance coverage dispute for cleanup costs of seven wood-treating facilities located throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Columbia Casualty Company, et al. v. Arjo Wiggins Appleton P.L.C., a multi-million dollar environmental insurance coverage dispute related to the cleanup of PCB pollution in Wisconsin's Lower Fox River.
