Matt's concentration on civil litigation and family law began in 2009 when he started working for Dewitt Ross & Stevens while still in law school. On the civil litigation side, he has assisted corporations in a variety of matters including defending against discrimination claims, frivolous asbestos lawsuits, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, and Union grievances.
In family law, Matthew has represented individuals in divorce actions and post-divorce disputes over placement, custody, maintenance and child support issues.
Prior to joining the firm he worked as an intern on the Wisconsin Supreme Court with Justice Michael Gableman and also assisted with the Wisconsin Innocence Project.
