Michael Kruse is a valuable asset to the Firm's litigation team based upon his prior experience in labor and employment litigation and trial work. While Michael continues to assist the firm in employment-related matters, he has developed strong skills to support the firm's personal injury practice thanks to his meticulous skills at researching, writing and supporting Attorney Paul Hoefle in the firm's litigation and trial efforts. He ventured back to Wisconsin after attending law school in St. Louis, Missouri.

Notable Representations

  • Represented family of a woman killed by a drunk driver in wrongful death jury trial resulting in $915,000 verdict
  • Second-chaired jury trial recovering $652,000 verdict, including $384,000 in punitive damages for a client injured when her car was struck by a wheel that detached from a box truck on Interstate 94
  • Participated in jury trial resulting in verdict of nearly $530,000 for client injured when she was struck by a pickup while walking near her home
  • Assisted in obtaining favorable verdict and attorneys' fees in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia for business wrongfully terminated under the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law
