With a great deal of tenacity and a desire to achieve, Mindy prides herself on successful outcomes. Her practice focuses on representing companies in employment-related matters with an emphasis on litigation, including disputes regarding restrictive covenants, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, FMLA claims and contract disputes. In addition to representing businesses in employment matters, Mindy assists health care facilities with their labor and employment needs, including negotiating on their behalf with labor unions.
Mindy regularly practices in state and federal courts in Wisconsin, as well as before the Equal Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission. She has arbitrated several matters before the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly the National Association for Securities Dealers) and Police and Fire Commissions.
In order to keep her clients abreast of recent developments in labor and employment law, she is a frequent contributor to the HR Advantage newsletter, a publication prepared by the firm’s Labor & Employment Relations Practice Group. Mindy also chairs the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, having served in that capacity for over five years.
