As a member of the Intellectual Property practice group, Sherri Barsness assists in the preparation and filing of patent and trademark applications. In addition to filing them with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Sherri also monitors the status of applications, communicates with clients and prepares correspondence to clients reporting patent office communications. She is an invaluable asset to the DeWitt team, bringing over 18 years of legal experience when she joined the firm in 2008.
Sherri earned her paralegal certificate from Charter College in Anchorage, Alaska, and has continuously worked in the legal field since graduation with an emphasis in Intellectual Property.
